Spirit Meadow Healing and Yoga
Lori’s journey in the healing arts began when she attended her first yoga class over 15 years ago. As she continued her practice she became more and more spiritually connected and learned to listen to her body and all the messages that she received from her higher source. She has been an avid cyclist over the years, and in 2008 kept getting messages to focus and train to get in shape for a 100 mile bike ride. She successfully achieved that and within a couple of weeks after, was diagnosed with a benign meningioma and had major surgery. The Doctors were amazed how quickly she recovered and her great attitude throughout. She attributes that to her deep faith and the practice of yoga as it truly is more than just the physical postures - it is a balance of mind, body and spirit.
In 2014, she received a message to "BE a Yoga Teacher" and went on to obtain her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. Throughout her training she learned many styles and was immediately drawn to the therapeutic side of yoga. In 2017 she received her 100 hour Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra Meditation Facilitator Certification through the Amrit Yoga Institute. She has a deep passion to help others on their journey of rediscovering their inner potential and is excited to share her knowledge and energy. Her strong love for Yoga Nidra meditation and Trauma Sensitive Yoga is incorporated into her classes and private sessions.
She also holds a Master Certification in Integrated Energy Therapy (I.E.T.) for people and animals; Level 1 Reiki and Reiki for Animals; completed a 3 day intensive workshop with world renowned Animal Communicator Amelia Kinkaide. She also graduated as an Ambassador in “Tree Whispering” speaking to and for trees and plants, through training with Dr. Jim Conroy and Basia Alexander. Most recently she received her Level I certification in Medicinal Aromatherapy through Wisdom of The Earth. She is deeply connected to nature and has great passion for animals, practicing various energy therapy modalities on dogs, cats, horses, and donkeys, as well as people.
